His musical style is deeply rooted in UKG, but he also explores electro, techno, minimal, and disco, delivering high-energy, genre-blending DJ sets that connect different eras and styles.
Growing up near Ashdown Forest, Dr Banana developed his passion for music through free parties and illegal raves, which influenced his eclectic and left-field approach to dance music. He founded the Dr Banana label, which has become a globally recognized platform for both reissuing classic UKG tracks and promoting new producers. The label has released music from artists like K-Lone, El-B, DJ Deller, and Anthill Mob.
