Elder is a four-piece heavy psychedelic/progressive rock band consisting of guitarist/singer Nick DiSalvo, drummer Georg Edert, bassist Jack Donovan and guitarist/keyboardist Mike Risberg. Orinally founded in Boston, Massachusetts, the band has recently taken up residency in Europe, using a constantly changing backdrop as fuel for their evolving sound. The band has released four full-length albums, one live record and two EPs since 2006, in the course of which they have progressed from their origins in stoner rock and doom to become one of heavy rock’s most unpredictable and creative voices.
